James graduated from the University of Western Australia with an MBBS (honours) in 2016. After completing internship and gaining general experience in the tertiary hospital system, he has predominantly worked in psychiatry/mental health across multiple settings including ED/crisis triage, mental health ward and outpatients. This experience has helped shaped James’ patient-centric approach, and belief in the power of a therapeutic relationship with patients. His areas of clinical interest are: mental health, insomnia, chronic pain and general practice.More recently, James has developed an additional interest in natural, alternative treatment options for chronic conditions, and has been working in this space for the last year. He has been amazed at the results some patients are able to achieve.
