At Bowen Hills, psychiatry appointments are provided via telehealth.
To help your first appointment go smoothly, we recommend that you:

Your first appointment will usually take about an hour. During your telehealth consultation, your psychiatrist will talk through your history and current symptoms, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions about your diagnosis and treatment options. Depending on your needs, next steps may include a treatment plan, follow-up telehealth appointments, or referral to another service within the practice.

For patients receiving TMS treatment, face-to-face appointments are available at our Bowen Hills clinic, with onsite parking and Bowen Hills Train Station nearby. After your appointment, your psychiatrist will usually write to your referring GP with a summary and recommendations and talk you through the next steps in your care.
