Please bring your Medicare Card to your appointment to process your Medicare rebates. The Banyans Medical Centre is a private-billing practice. For more information regarding appointment fees, please call 07 3155 3848.

If it is your first appointment with The Banyans Medical Centre, please complete your Patient Information form online. Alternatively, our reception staff can provide you with the Patient Information form upon arrival to your first appointment. Please allow an additional 10 minutes to complete this form prior to your scheduled appointment.

Please bring either your medical records or contact details of your previous treating GP to your first appointment. Our GPs can liaise with your previous treating GP to gain access to your medical records. 

Alternatively, if you have opted-in for the My Health Record system, you can provide your GP access to your key health information through the online portal.

Yes. If you would like a Telehealth appointment, please discuss this option with reception staff when making the appointment. You can call our reception on 07 3315 3848. 

National Home Doctor provides bulk-billed, after-hours Doctor home visits. Call 13SICK (13 74 25) after 6pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday), 12pm noon on Saturday, all day Sunday and public holidays.

Our reception staff are unable to provide test results over the phone. The Banyans Medical Centre policy is for test results to be discussed with your GP. Your GP will request you to make follow-up appointments to discuss your results, if that is required. In some cases, they may call you to discuss your results.

Our doctors have their own arrangements regarding repeat prescriptions. Some may require you to see them for a consultation in order to arrange a repeat prescription, while others may charge a small fee to write prescriptions outside of consultations. Please check with your doctor regarding his or her arrangements.

No, pets are not allowed with the exception of service dogs registered with Guide Dogs Australia.
