Pregnancy, Newborn and Children’s Health
Childhood Vaccinations and Immunisations
Our GPs can perform vaccinations and immunisations for newborns and children. These vaccinations include the full recommended range for newborns, toddlers and children under the National Immunisation Program Schedule.
Childhood Health Checks
Every child develops at a different pace, however there are general developmental benchmarks which can be assessed. If you have concerns about your child’s development, our GPs can conduct an assessment and advise on the best treatment.
Antenatal, Postpartum & Newborn Care
Our GPs provide antenatal, postpartum and newborn care for mothers and their newborns. Please advise when booking an appointment if a longer appointment is necessary due to complications or concerns.
Family Planning and Contraception
As part of family planning, our GPs can perform general health checks for factors that affect fertility. This may include undertaking a pap smear, assessing current medications, as well as screening for infectious diseases, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
If you have been trying to conceive for a while, your GP can assist with the provision of additional testing for possible fertility issues.
