Carien became part of the Banyans Medical Centre team in September 2023, bringing over a decade of nursing experience in mental health, cancer support, immunisation clinics, and general practice.

Her dedication to aiding others, attentively addressing their worries, and imparting knowledge to patients, families, and the community has always been her driving force. She possesses a particular passion for assisting individuals grappling with eating disorders and intricate mental health conditions.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Carien enjoys baking, running and exploring the outdoors with her husband, children and cherished spoodle, Memphis.
